ATOM WINTER Hockey Skills and Power Skating/Goalie Development

The Kamloops Junior Blazers will be continuing our Atom Hockey Skills and Power Skating Sessions with a new session starting in January.
These sessions are for players that are at the Atom Development level and provides an extra ice session per week where we will provide additional hockey skill and power skating development.
These sessions will run on Thursdays at the Brock arena from 3:15pm - 4:15pm and will start January 10 through February 28, 2019.
In total there will be 8 ice sessions (4 dedicated to hockey skills and 4 to power skating for skaters and goalie training for goalies).  Note:  the goalie training will be dependent on having a minimum of 2 goalies signing up for this clinic.
These sessions will be coached by our highly skilled non-parent hockey skills coaches.
Head Power Skating Coach:  Michelle Pepin.
Michelle is our head power skating coach.  Michelle joins us from the lower mainland where she was the head power skating coach at the Richmond Olympic Oval and Richmond Minor Hockey where she created the "STRIDE" Power Skating Program.  As our Power Skating coach, Michelle exposes our players to a number of styles and techniques all designed to provide them with the knowledge and tools to enhance and improve our players hockey skating techniques and become the best skaters they can be.
Head Hockey Skills Coaches:  Crosby Dorais and Aaron Keller
Crosby is the head coach of the Brock Hockey academy and owns Crosby's Training Center, an athletic training center specializing in strength and conditioning to athletes of all ages.
Aaron is an assistant coach with the Kamloops Blazers (WHL) and has extensive coaching experience in Canada and abroad as well as playing experience in the WHL, ECHL, AHL, IHL
Head Goalie Coach:  Lucas Gore.
Lucas grew up playing minor hockey in Kamloops before advancing to Vernon Vipers in the BCHL followed by three full seasons for the Chilliwack Bruins in the WHL. He then attended business school at the University of Regina for 4 years while playing CIS hockey and finished off in the East Coast Hockey League in the 2014/2015 season before becoming a goaltending coach.  Lucas works with the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL, Prince George Spruce Kings in the BCHL and the Thompson Blazers in the BCMMHL in addition to providing goalie coaching within the KMHA organization.
In order to maintain a high level of development, these sessions will have a maximum of 20 skaters and 4 goalies.
Cost for the program will be $200.00 for the full 8 sessions from Jan 10 - Feb 28, 2019.
